Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Uganda’s most stunning yet least-visited parks, located in the northeastern corner along the border with Kenya and South Sudan. This park offers an authentic natural experience with breathtaking views of African landscapes.
Taking a flight to Kidepo not only shortens your travel time but also provides spectacular aerial views of this magnificent destination.
After enjoying breakfast and lunch at your hotel, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your one-hour flight to Kidepo Valley National Park. As you land, take in the stunning aerial views of the unspoiled wilderness and wildlife. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed and checked into your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy refreshments while soaking in the breathtaking surroundings.

Start your day with a warm cup of tea before heading out early for a game drive in the southern part of the park, known for its lush savannah grasslands that attract a variety of predators. During your drive, you’ll have the chance to observe a wide range of wildlife, including buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and lions. After several hours of exploration, return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation.
In the afternoon, continue your adventure by exploring other attractions in the park, such as the rugged landscapes and hot springs, and keep an eye out for cheetahs, often spotted in this area. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day hike to Mount Morungole (2,700 meters), located in the northern part of the park near the South Sudan border. This region is home to a small population of local people known for their rich cultural performances. Enjoy breathtaking views across the Karamoja plains and immerse yourself in nature. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodations.
Rise early to enjoy your morning meal before heading out for a nature walk in the park, where you can encounter various wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. After your walk, return to the lodge for lunch before your flight back to Entebbe International Airport.
