This exciting safari to Murchison Falls National Park, famous for its stunning views of the falls, includes a game drive through the vast savannah grasslands and a boat cruise along the Nile River. Day 1 : Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

You will be greeted by our driver guide at your current location, who will take you on a journey north of the country via the Kampala-Gulu highway. The road is clear and the ride is smooth as you make your way to Masindi town, where you will stop for a delicious lunch before continuing on to the park.

Soon, you will arrive at the southern entrance of Murchison Falls, passing through Budongo Forest along the way where you may catch a glimpse of some animals, including the playful baboons. After a ferry crossing over the Nile, you will reach your accommodation where you can freshen up before enjoying a delectable dinner and settling in for an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Start your day with an early wake-up at 6:00 a.m. and enjoy a cup of coffee with a light snack before setting off on a thrilling game drive. As you explore the park, you’ll pass through diverse landscapes, including savannah, woodlands, and riverine forests. Keep an eye out for predators like lions, hyenas, leopards, and jackals, as well as other wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species along the game trails.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise upstream to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the way, you'll spot wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, and lizards. Sip on a refreshing drink as you prepare for the exciting hike to the top of the falls, where you’ll witness the breathtaking sight of the Nile River plunging over the falls.

Once at the top, take some time to capture photos before meeting your guide for the drive back to the lodge. Enjoy dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Day 3 : Transfer to the Airport, Goodbye!

Wake up early to make the most of your day, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and check out before departing for Kampala. On the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a brief trek to see the rhinos.

Afterward, continue the journey with a stop for lunch. You’ll then drive directly to Kampala, arriving in the evening, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel for dinner and a well-deserved night's rest.
