3 Days /2 Night

At the start of your safari, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to your destination, Kibale National Park, with a lunch stop along the way. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge and settle in. You'll arrive in time for dinner and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the lodge, either within or near the park.

Accommodation options:

  • Chimpanzee Forest Guest House(budget)
  • Kibale Forest  Camp (mid-range)
  • Primates Lodge(luxury)

After breakfast, embark on an exciting primate tracking or habituation experience in Kibale Forest. With its large population of chimpanzees, you’ll have a great opportunity to observe and interact with these fascinating creatures. Along the way, you may also encounter other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, L'Hoest’s monkeys, red colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and blue monkeys. Your guide will share insights about the diverse flora and fauna of the forest.

If you're not participating in the chimpanzee habituation, you'll return to the lodge for lunch. The afternoon offers time to relax or take a community walk to explore the local villages nearby. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Start your day with an early morning breakfast before heading to KAFRED, where a guide will accompany you on the Bigodi Swamp Walk. Following this, you'll enjoy a cultural tour at the Bigodi homesteads, where you can witness traditional activities such as local food preparation and weaving, performed by the Bigodi Women’s Group.

After the cultural experience, you can either choose to continue your journey south to Semliki National Park or head back to Kampala.
