This 16-day Pearl of Africa safari offers you the chance to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets each day, completely free of charge. Along the way, you’ll encounter incredible attractions such as mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, Uganda’s stunning landscapes, and lush green pastures, not to mention the diverse wildlife in the country’s national parks. Make the most of this journey by embracing all the experiences that await you.
During these 16 days, you’ll explore several national parks, each offering unique attractions and adventures. Your safari includes visits to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll see rhinos before heading to Murchison Falls National Park, followed by stops at Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and finally, Lake Mburo National Park.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, a trained guide from Adventure in the Wild Safaris will greet you and transfer you to Kampala, a journey that takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. After lunch, you'll embark on a city tour where you will explore several attractions, including the Uganda Museum, Kabaka's Tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, and the Ndere Cultural Centre. Following the tour, you'll check in at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel to rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day's adventures.

After breakfast, you'll set off for Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s largest national parks, a drive that will take around 6 hours. En route, you’ll visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to see the rhinos before continuing through Karuma Falls and reaching Murchison Falls. Once at the park, you'll check in at the entrance and head to your lodge for the night.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through the park, spotting animals like leopards, lions, giraffes, and waterbucks. Later, you’ll hike to the top of Murchison Falls, followed by lunch at Pakuba Lodge. In the afternoon, relax on a boat cruise along the Nile River where you will spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a 7-hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through the Albert Rift Valley with views of Lake Albert. On the way, you may choose to visit Mabeera ga Nyina Mwiru in Fort Portal District. After lunch in the town, you'll continue to Kibale, checking in at the park’s entrance before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Early morning, after breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trek. Once you find the chimpanzee families, you’ll have an hour to observe and photograph them. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and later enjoy a nature walk in Bigodi, where you’ll interact with local people and learn about their culture. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, a drive of about 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the park's entrance and head to your lodge. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing afternoon before an evening game drive where you may see lions, leopards, bush babies, hyenas, and elephants. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Begin your day with a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may encounter elephants, lions, and more. Later, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which offers a fantastic opportunity to view wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and countless bird species. Return to the lodge for a relaxing evening.
After breakfast, travel to Kyambura Gorge for a chimpanzee trekking experience, starting with a briefing at 7 am. You will then spend time observing the chimpanzees before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Ishasha sector of the park to see the famous tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, you’ll drive for about 4 hours to Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge before heading out on a boat cruise where you’ll spot various bird species like black herons and woodpeckers. You may also visit the island where Bakiga girls were once exiled. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, checking in upon arrival. After lunch, enjoy a Batwa community walk where you’ll learn about the Batwa people’s culture and way of life. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Start your day with a warm cup of coffee before heading to the park for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules. In groups of up to 8, you’ll enter the park to search for mountain gorillas. Once found, you’ll spend an hour observing and photographing them. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, you’ll drive 3 hours to Mgahinga National Park. After checking in, head to Lake Mutanda for a peaceful boat cruise. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Spend the day hiking through the forests on the Batwa Trail. During the hike, you'll learn about traditional Batwa practices, including medicinal herbs and hunting techniques. Enjoy lunch along the trail before returning to your lodge for dinner and rest.
After breakfast, embark on a 5-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop in Mbarara for lunch before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and prepare for an evening game drive, where you’ll see animals like zebras. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

On the second-to-last day of your trip, you'll start with an early morning cup of tea before heading out for an exciting horseback ride through the park. As you ride, you'll encounter a variety of wildlife, including impalas, antelopes, and giraffes, making the experience both charming and thrilling. The ride lasts approximately two hours. Afterward, you'll return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for an evening boat cruise at Rwonyo, where you can spot animals like crocodiles, hippos, and buffaloes. Later, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
On the final day, after breakfast, embark on a morning game drive before driving back to Kampala. Stop at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch before continuing to Kampala, where your guide will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your departure, marking the end of your 16-day Pearl of Africa safari.
