Uganda offers unique attractions that distinguish it from other traditional African safari destinations, and this “Best of Uganda” safari vacation ensures you fully experience those differences. The journey begins in Entebbe, where you’ll likely arrive by air, and takes you through the stunning southwest hills, continuing along the southern route of the Nile to Murchison Falls and the Kidepo Valley.
This exclusive adventure is carefully curated to include unforgettable nature experiences, such as the thrilling encounter with mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the playful interactions with chimpanzees in Kibale Forest. A visit to see the mountain gorillas is one of the most highly recommended experiences in the Pearl of Africa, though participants should be physically prepared for the challenging trek through rugged jungle trails to reach a habituated gorilla family.
No trip to Africa is complete without experiencing its rich local cultures. In Bwindi, you’ll meet the Batwa, the indigenous forest dwellers, while in Kidepo, you’ll encounter the Karamojong nomads. These two vibrant communities, largely untouched by modern influences, offer a window into the traditional ways of life that have been preserved for generations.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a driver from Adventure in the Wild Safaris will meet you and take you to your hotel in Entebbe, just a 15-minute drive away.
